The work

Breedon became a client of MHP in January 2023, following which we have worked closely with the Executive Board, Investor Relations, Communications and Sustainability teams, to deliver on Breedon’s ambitions as a leading listed construction materials business in the UK and Ireland.

A truly integrated brief, MHP has advised Breedon across multiple aspects of its business. In the first half of 2023, we communicated the Group’s move from AIM to the Main Market of the LSE, and it subsequently joined the FTSE 250 index.

The impact

As well as playing an integral role advising Breedon throughout its financial calendar, with announcements including results, trading updates, and M&A, in October 2023 we supported Breedon’s Analyst and Investor site visit to Wickwar, a quarry outside Bristol. The event demonstrated the benefits of Breedon’s vertically integrated business model whilst articulating the broader investment case to key analysts and investors.

Sustainability is a central tenet in all the work produced, with MHP engaging regularly with Breedon’s Sustainability team, providing analysis and support on a variety of topics, as well as keeping the team abreast of key developments in the space.
