Connectivity is not just essential, but is now declared a human right in our inter-dependent world.  Every facet of our daily lives now involves digital connections – and the reliability and performance of the telecom networks which enable that connectivity are critical to our lives and livelihoods.  MHP works with some of the most innovative and successful telecom operators in the world and the technology companies that enable them. Our team is deeply involved in the emerging technologies that will drive the next era of telecoms.

Mobile digital broadband has changed the landscape of telecoms from being a voice and messaging service to being the universal access for the internet in all its guises.  While OECD countries benefit from faster connections and lower latency of 5G, it is 4G that has massively benefited individuals and entire economies in the rest of the world.

If the recent impact of digital connectivity has been exciting, the future is positively riveting. New technologies like Open RAN promise greater flexibility and lower costs in building networks.  Direct to Cell (D2C) systems using satellites constellations are bringing connectivity to the most remote regions.  AI will fundamentally change the applications that we use on our digital devices and bring enormous benefits across developing and developed societies.

MHP works at the forefront of these new telecom’s technologies, the digital services they enable and the operators that bring them to users.  We help craft the messaging and build the communications channels that bring these exciting stories to the world.

Recent highlights include:

  • Bringing to the media’s attention the inspirational thinking of VEON’s Digital Operator 1440 strategy that is bringing digital services to support the lives of hundreds of millions of people across the world for each and every of the 1,440 minutes that constitutes a day.
  • Working with Kyivstar, Ukraine’s largest operator, to tell the world’s media the remarkable story of its resilience during the war and how it has maintained digital connectivity across the country despite the continuous damage to its infrastructure.  Breaking the news that Kyivstar is partnering with Starlink to bring D2C ubiquitous connectivity to the war torn and remote regions of Ukraine.
  • Communicating the potential of AI to transform lives through digital services; from systems to help farmers in rural Pakistan produce greater yields from their crops, to programmes that help urban planners intelligently manage services in the crowded streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Building the narrative of VEON’s AI leadership within the telecoms industry and communicating its AI1440 strategy.
