MHP Group is a leading communications partner to UK government.

Our clients include government-owned bodies including the British Business Bank, Nuclear Waste Services, the NHS and defence and security organisations. We also work for government departments, including the Department for Business and Trade and the Cabinet Office.

We specialise in delivering projects and campaigns that build public resilience, support the skills agenda, drive behaviour change, earn trust, counter misinformation, and secure an organisation’s licence to operate. We help the public sector engage under-represented and hard to reach audiences, entrepreneurs and small businesses, and people with the skills vital to delivering national prosperity and security.

Our team combines senior experts who have led communications teams for major government departments, run media operations for government bodies, and delivered award-winning behaviour change and communications campaigns for public sector clients. Our creative and digital teams are practised at developing work that is impactful, responsible and tailored to diverse audiences.

Our work is informed by advanced data and analytics, detailed synthetic personas, and proprietary insights into polarisation, advocacy and trust. We structure our approach using the OASIS and PROVE frameworks to ensure efficacy, efficiency, measurability and impact.

To design our behaviour change programmes, we partner with two teams who have a long history of working with government to design communications strategies and interventions – Cambridge University’s Political Psychology Lab and Influence At Work.
