We are delighted to announce the winners of the 30 To Watch: Journalism awards for 2026.

For 15 years, MHP Group has celebrated some of the best young talent in the media. This year we received more than 250 entries from all corners of the UK.

A special thank you to our independent judging panel, chaired by Alison Phillips, former Editor in Chief at The Mirror. The panel included Paul Morgan Bentley, Head of Forensic Journalism at The Times, Anne Alexander, Head of Politics at ITV and Alex Goss, Head of News at The Sun.

We were particularly pleased to welcome back former 30 To Watch winners as judges including The Guardian Senior Correspondent Geraldine McKelvie and The FT Global Transport Correspondent Peter Campbell.
